MERLYN E. JONES, Senior Pastor, has been pastoring since 1970. He was the founding pastor of the Faith Baptist church of Defiance, Ohio from 1970 - 1978 and the Faith Baptist Church of Mount Vernon, Ohio, from 1978 - 2008. He began his ministry at FBC of Otsego in August of 2008. He received a B.A. in Communications from Cedarville University and an M. Div. from Grace Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Nancy, have had a music ministry since they first met in 1963. Pastor Jones enjoys hunting, fishing, ping pong and other sports. Pastor and Nancy have three children: Lori (Ken) Wall; Mark (Andrea), have four children; and Philip (Stacey), have twin boys.

PAUL LABORDE, Pastor of Youth & Families. Paul is a Baptist pastor's son who grew up in Elkart, Indiana. He graduated from Cedarville University with a Bible Comprehensive major in 2004 and served as an officer in the Army from 2004-2008. Some of his duties included, planning and executing over 300 combat missions in Iraq, and serving as company commander overseeing 150 government civilians and soldiers, while at Fort Knox, Kentucky. His ministry experience with teens has previously been an unpaid youth group leader at the Northside Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and at the Grace Baptist Church in Casa Grande, Arizona. He began his ministry at FBC of Otsego in July of 2010. He is currently pursuing a masters degree in counseling from Liberty University. Paul and his wife, Beth, have a son, Cameron.
